The Rays Go ‘Younger’ Pitching Wise…
St. Petersburg, FL (The Captain) -
In a move to revitalize a foundering pitching staff, Plan A was unleashed this afternoon at ‘The Trop’…
Young J. P Howell, the pitcher who broke Roger Clemens strikeout record at Texas, was on the mound and he pitched well enough to help give the Rays a win against the Kansas City Royals…
With help in the field from Ty Wigginton and B. J. Upton as well as the bats of Delmon Young and Javaro Navarro, the Rays got a deserved 5-1 win…
There’s more ‘young help’ on the way for the Rays pitching staff who now will have the 25 year old James Shields as their ‘senior starter’ in the rotation…
I think this is a great move on the part of the Rays and look forward to watching the youngest and perhaps best starting pitching staff in the Majors as they go thru the rest of the season…
This is a team that most certainly CAN win ‘at least’ 75 games if all the pieces of the puzzle hold together…
Take yourself out to ‘The Trop’ and watch the Rays and their stars of tomorrow. You can then tell all your friends, "I remember when…
For now, that’s just the way I see it…
